Telling Tales - A patchwork of Village People East and West
Hanney 2011 by Angela Cousins

During 2011 over seventy residents of East and West Hanney
talked to the author about themselves, their work, their interests
and most importantly, their thoughts on what it meant to them to be
a member of a village community. Contributors to "Telling Tales"
include those who were born and still live in Hanney, those who
moved in decades ago, and those who are more recent arrivals. The
book, which covers almost a hundred years of memories, is full of
life and colour, as interesting and varied as the people who helped
create it.
Although "Telling Tales" is obviously a book of local interest,
it will also appeal to anyone who wishes to read about how one
modern-day village community works and plays together, and
considers its past, present and future.
