East Hanney PC Flood Meeting

Over 70 residents attended a meeting arranged by East Hanney Parish Council on 27th February, informing them of the work performed folling last summers floods and to gauge the level of interest in forming a community defence group. The Environment Agencys Flood Report on last summers floods has been published and copies are available from The Community Shop or call the EA on 08708 506506.

Village Hall

Following the floods at the War Memorial Hall, the main Hall now has a new floor and is available for use.

New Bus Link to Milton Park, Didcot

Oxfordshire County Council has introducted a new bus service from Hanney to Milton Park and Didcot. The new No. 36 service is operated by RH Transport. The service is available in the morning and evening peak hours. The new route stops outside The Black Horse in East Hanney and takes only 10 minutes to Milton Park and 20 minutes to Didcot Station.
