The Hanneys´ Community Plan

At a meeting at Hanney War Memorial Hall on January 7th 2010 villagers braved the atrocious weather and elected the members of the Steering Group and formed the 5 sub-committees.

The Steering Group is:

West Hanney PC representative Eddie Wilkinson
Chair of Communications Sub-Committee Gill Parry
Chair of Community Sub-Committee Derek Hockaday
Chair of Environment Sub-Committee Rosi Rollings
Chair of Planning Sub-Committee Michael Mills
Chair of Social Sub-Committee Jim Stagg

The first meeting of the Steering Group took place on January 21st 2010 and the first meeting of the sub-committees took place in February 2010. All future meetings of the Steering Group will be held in Hanney War Memorial Hall. Dates for 2010 will be provided soon.

What is next and in the future?

There is now plenty to do. The sub-committees will be looking at all aspects of village life and assessing the issues to be covered in a questionnaire delivered to all households later in the year. The questionnaire will seek your views.
